'Her Flowers' is a product that challenges cultural practices and makes you think 'why?...not?'

The project was triggered by the menstrual taboo. As I interviewed people I was surprised by how inconsistent and paradox the taboo seemed. Historically, the myths and facts of menstruation have varied. Today, the taboo is probably maintained by the sanitary product industry, as they make money from it. (The companies want women to feel ‘unfresh’ so that they can help them become ‘fresh’).
